Marge MacDougall is going to be a momma! Promises, Promises Tony winner Katie Finneran and her new husband, actor Dareen Goldstein, are expecting a child, a production spokesperson confirmed to Broadway.com. Due to her pregnancy, Finneran will depart the production on October 10. Finneran and Goldstein tied the knot on August 22, 2010.
Finneran picked up a Tony for Promises, Promises in June and is also a previous winner for Noises Off. Her many other Broadway credits include Mauritius, The Iceman Cometh, Cabaret, Proposals, The Heiress, In the Summer House, My Favorite Year and Two Shakespearean Actors. Goldstein has appeared off-Broadway in Mouth to Mouth, Gutenberg! The Musical, Mary Rose, Terrorism and Intimate Apparel.
The first-ever Broadway revival of Promises, Promises opened at the Broadway Theatre on April 25 and stars Sean Hayes as Chuck Baxter, Kristin Chenoweth as Fran Kubelik, Tony Goldwyn as JD Sheldrake and Dick Latessa as Dr. Dreyfuss. Hayes and Chenoweth are scheduled to play their final performance together on December 26, 2010.
